[Client How-To] Vanessa’s Wedding

People constantly ask me to share the specific products I used on a client in, say, an Instagram or Facebook post. Posting that information here seems like the easiest way to disseminate this info in a thorough manner and also show the work I do to those of you who don’t come from Instagram! So let us raise our [imaginary] glasses and toast to a new blog series called Client How-To!

Let’s kick it off with Vanessa’s wedding. Situated in a beautiful woodsy haven an hour outside Atlanta, this venue was the perfect combo of chic-meets-rustic, and I wanted Vanessa’s makeup to reflect that. More importantly, she doesn’t wear much makeup day-to-day, so I wanted to glam her without overwhelming her.

For Vanessa’s look, I focused on creating even, glowy skin and worked from there. Her eyeshadow is light and bronze-y, the shades and depth that she felt comfortable with. I even talked her into fake eyelashes (which I think make a huge difference!)

Roya was a bridesmaid for Vanessa and is comfortable with a full glam look, so that’s what we did for her! Of course we kept it soft still because it was a day wedding and full on smokey eyes with winged liner is a bit disconcerting in broad daylight.
