For me, rompers are very hit or miss. I find that so many of them look cute on the hanger, and then once on they become either frumpy or ill-fitting. Sometimes the torso is too short and they ride up uncomfortably (hello, cameltoe!) or other times it’s too long and the whole thing is baggy. But when I find one I love, I really really love it because I think rompers are so versatile – you can dress them up or down really easily. And the best part is how quick they are to throw on and walk out the door!

Today I took a basic navy romper that I usually wear on its own with nude heels and brightened it up with a bold kimono. I love the combination of bright colors of this outfit without being too overwhelming and bold.

I do have bad news guys – I’ve owned most of the pieces of this outfit for years, meaning the majority are unavailable for purchase. So, I’ve included similar alternatives for you beauties to shop. Luckily, the kimono is still available for a limited time! 🙂

Kimono: Dillards, on sale for $34.30
