I got back from a 14 day trip to California late last night, which meant that this morning I woke up to lots and lots of packages. One of them – the one I was probably most excited for – was from ColourPop!

I had been wanting to try ColourPop for a long time. Ever since they had a big instagram and youtube push with “beauty gurus”, my curiosity was peaked. My favorite social media stars – whose opinions I really trust – were giving their products a thumbs up, so I knew it was only a matter of time before I bit the bullet.

But really, it’s not too hard of a bullet to bite, as everything is relatively cheap! I got some lip pencils and lippie stix along with my blushes, but I’ll save those for another blog post.

Onto the good stuff! Here are the colors I purchased:

So, I’m not ready to write a full review since I haven’t had enough time to play around with them and see how they wear, but off the bat, me likey! There are definitely some front-runners from the pack in regards to pigmentation, but overall, I LOVE the texture. It’s like a cream/mousse-to-powder formula that feels like absolute heaven.
